Quote 114

Man is the most selfish animal on the planet…

In our lust to advance our habitation, we have dispossessed others of their habitation. Even the trees are starting to go… the trees — last haven and home to those that are victims of our lust — are clinging to life. We’ve made victims out of those whose only duty is to make life smooth-sailing for us. We have eradicated all of Nature’s pleasant workers and replaced them with heavy machines that still require manual labour and an exhaustive list of resources for them to work. Finally, we have positioned ourselves so high that we’ve lost all sense of duty.

As guardians of the earth, we have FAILED our purpose.
